So here we go about full procedures of how to appear in the APSC examination in 2018 [Assam Public Service Commission]

APSC [Assam Public Service Commission] full Syllabus and Examination Process 2018 in Assam 

Today in this blog we are discussing about the basic information about the ACS [ASSAM CIVIL SERVICE] Examination which is conducting by APSC Board.

THE COMBINED COMPETITIVE EXAMINATION WILL CONSIST OF TWO STAGES (A) WHICH  IS PRELIMINARY AND OTHER IS (B) WHICH IS THE MAIN EXAMINATION AND AFTER THAT INTERVIEW.

So lets see the full information about those part of the ACS Examination conduct by Assam Public Service Commission in details :-

A. PRELIMINARY EXAMINATION :- The Examination will consist of two papers of two hours duration each.This examination is meant to serve test only.The marks obtained in the preliminary examination by the candidates who are declared as qualified for admission to the main  examination  will not be  counted for determining the final order of merit.So due to all of yours help i want to discuss about the questions pattern of the examination in details :-
All the questions are multiple choice objective type.
PAPER- I      : General Studies                                  Marks = 200          Duration : 2 [two] Hours
PAPER-II      : one subject to be  selected                 Marks = 200          Duration : 2 [two] Hours
                        to be optional subject  from the subject selection list.     

B. MAIN EXAMINATION AND INTERVIEW FULL PROCEDURES :- The Main examination will consist of a Written Examination and an interview test  as below.
Candidates who obtain such a minimum qualifying marks in the Written part of Main Examination  as may  be fixed by  the Commission which is not fixed point of the commission at their discretion shall be summoned by them for an interview.The interview will carry 200 Marks with no qualifying marks.The Written Examination will consist of the following papers of 3 hours duration each. The Questions of the main examination 2018 will be conventional essay type.
PAPER -  I         General English                                300 Marks
PAPER - II         General Studies                                300 Marks
PAPER - III        (a) & (b)             Any two                200 Marks each papers
                                                      Optional                200 Marks each papers
PAPER - IV                                   Subjects,two         200 Marks each papers
                                                      Papers Each          200 Marks each papers
                                                       
                                                       TOTAL MARKS = 1400 Marks

Till now all of guys can get the information about the examination structure and marks structure of APSC Examination and after that i will give the information about the optional subjects selection process.The list of optional subjects  which is given in the Syllabus.

         Candidates will not be allowed the following combinations of subjects :-

         (a) Anthropology & Sociology
         (b) Mathematics & Statistics
         (c) Philosophy & Psychology
        (d) Agriculture & Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science
        (e) Of the Engineering subjects not more than one subject.

Assam Public Service Commission, Which conducts the examination has the discretion to fix qualifying marks in any or all of the subjects of the Examination.

Marks will not be allowed for more knowledge.

And last we discuss about INTERVIEW TEST..............................MARKS 200.
The candidates will be interviewed by a Board which will have the record of the career of the candidates.The interview/Personality Test will not have any qualifying marks.The marks scored in the interview will be added to the marks scored in the Written Examination (Main) and the ranking of the candidates will be determined on the basis of the total marks obtained in the Examination 2018.
